smol thoughts: On Confidence

One assumes confidence is what you project when you’re certain of being right. On the contrary, I’ve found myself to be most confident when I’m absolutely ok with and welcome being wrong. When you welcome being wrong, it signals that you’re concerned about getting to the truth of the subject matter vs being steadfast about your beliefs.

Confidence prompts questions. Confidence comes with an open mind. Confidence seeks the best outcome.
